Worship

We have two Worship services each Sunday morning at 10:00 and 10:30 am.

Traditional Worship- 10:00 am
This worship service brings together a full choir, stirring music and traditional liturgy and preaching. First Church’s soaring sanctuary is the perfect setting for a moving worship experience, complemented with the warmth of an open and welcoming congregation.

NewSong~ Contemporary Worship- 10:30 am
This lively service has an awesome praise band and reaches out to those who enjoy contemporary worship. Blue jeans are not out of place here and childcare and a free continental coffee is offered. It’s a great way to start any Sunday morning! This service meets in the Fellowship Hall. Visit their micro-site to check out what goes on each week.

Children’s Sermons
Each Sunday, during both worship services we have a chance for children to come up front for a very special age appropriate children’s sermon.  Children of all ages are invited to come up for this message.  We have many adult volunteers who take turns doing the message.

Also for children:  We have worship “busy bags” available in either Narthex for children in the service.  In it there are puzzles, toys, crayons, paper and pencils, as well as a Children’s Worship Bulletin.
