All praise to Christ, our God and King divine, whose rightful crown did once for us decline, That in our darkened hearts His grace might shine. Hosanna in the highest!
He came to us in lowliness of thought;
by Him the outcast and the poor were sought; and by His death was God’s salvation wrought. Hosanna in the highest!
Let us then learn His great humility; He was a servant that we might be free, and gave Himself to death on Calvary. Hosanna in the highest!
Lord, by Your might new life and strength endow; at God’s right hand you are exalted now
and given the name to which all knees shall bow. Hosanna in the highest!
Let every tongue confess with one accord in heaven and earth that Jesus Christ is Lord;
and God the Father be by all adored.
