Most Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you and our neighbor. Be merciful to us and forgive us for Jesus’ sake. In order to live in the fullness of the gospel, remind us that it is by grace that we live and die. Help us confess our sin and open us to the new life that only the gospel affords. In this hour of worship, remind each of us of the wonderful life and ministry you have given us as a sacred trust. Make us worthy of sharing the mysteries of faith with our friends and neighbors. May we keep faith alive and vibrant in our community. All this we ask in Christ’s holy name. Amen.
