Hail Thee, Festival day!
The day that is hallowed forever; Day when the Lord arose, breaking the bonds of death.
See how the beauty of earth reborn blossoms forth from the winter. See how it speaks of life, God’s new life to the world.
He who was nailed to the cross is Lord of all creation.
All things created on earth sing to the glory of God.
God is the Lord of all life, God’s word is assured to the nations. Death has no more its sting,
Life is forever won.
Let all the earth sing for joy; Today the Lord has triumphed. Nations give ear and be glad; Christ is alive; Sing for joy.
